Internal Committee for Differently Abled

As per the directives of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in its order dated 15th December 2017 passed in W.P. (C) no. 292/2006 on 15th December 2017 and further request of UGC for proper implementation of Harmonised Guidelines and Space Standards for Barrier-free Built Environment for Persons with Disability and Elderly Persons CHRIST (Deemed to be University) has formed an Internal Committee comprising of teachers, staff and students to take care of the day-to-day needs of differently-abled persons, as well as implement the existing schemes and devise them in the future. The main objectives of the committee are to ensure equity and equal opportunity and a disabled-friendly campus for all the disabled students who are studying in the institution by addressing their problems and requirements and thereby making a barrier-free environment for persons with disability.
