I am Kanika Mary from Angel Women’s SHG. The Women’s Day program organized by CSA touched my life in many ways. I never had the confidence to go to a bank and do the needful. Instead, I had always depended on my husband. After joining the group, I underwent a number of training sessions and now, with the help of the project team, I am able to go to the bank to get my work done.
As a leader of the group, I feel more responsible and realize the need to empower my co-members. In order to have an additional income, I work as a housekeeping staff in National Games Village (NGV) and keep aside Rs.500 as my monthly saving, which has now added up to Rs.8500. All thanks to CSA for the empowerment and enlightenment.
