Graduated student

I am Lakshmi a sponsor child of 2014 and at present studying in 2nd year PUC in Govt College. Before joining the Activity Centre I was facing lot of difficulties in studies. My parents could not afford sending me to private tuitions as my mother is the only earning member in the family and father is an alcoholic. My mother is a member of Self-Help Group and she got to know about CSA through other members. Later on, I was sponsored and I could attend the Activity centre, got the opportunity to participate in various activities like sports, study exposure, talents day, carnival, Milan, Gracias and academic support.

My spoken English was improved through Matram session and now I can speak better English. Activity centre has helped me gain knowledge, talents, developed my confidence and leadership skill by involving in the activities and awareness programs conducted by CSA. Volunteers are role models for me and they motivate and encourage to study well and perform better. I have received benefits like school bag, note books, school shoes, which has reduced the financial burden of my family. I was feeling very happy for the New Year gifts like blanket, lunch box and water bottle given by CSA. I am thankful to CSA, my facilitators and volunteers for helping me to bring the best out of me.
